What are good web sites to learn 35mm film photography?

January 6th, 2009
  • I'm very interested in the subject, but can't find any good learning web sites. I'm primarily interested in the ones that have video tutorials, but I'll take any I can get.

  • I can't think of any good websites with videos at the moment...but one site you should try is www.photo.net. It has forums where you can post topics, and there are a lot of professional and amateur photographers there. You should look on the "Classic Manual Cameras" and "35mm" forums. If you ask a question there, you should be able to get help. I know I've learned a lot since I joined and a lot of people have helped me.

You have to register to post messages in the forums, but it's free.

  • Ken Rockwell has some good tips and info.

For video tutorials, do a search on youtube.com.
